Ana Ablaza Baluyut writes English and Filipino poetry and is coming up with her first collection of poetry in October 2003.

She was formerly the Editor-in-Chief of Musa, The Philippine Literature Magazine and published by the Manila Bulletin Publishing Corporation in 2002.

She is a Fellow for Poetry of the University of Santo Tomas and Ateneo de Manila University National Writers Workshops and has been published in various publications namely the Sunday Inquirer Magazine, ANI (Cultural Center of the Philippines), TOMAS (University of Santo Tomas, Manila Bulletin and Haranya: An Anthology of Literary Works.

She was also awarded first and second places by the De La Salle University Awards for Literature for Filipino poetry.
