Francess Raymundo was educated at the Ateneo de Manila University for a Master of Arts Degree with Majors in English Literature and Creative Writing. She was also a Fellow at the 2ND Ateneo National Writers Workshop (2001). Francess is also a trained economist from the University of Asia and the Pacific. She owns and is the Director of Publications of SolÆnum Publishing Manila. She is the author of a novel, Maestra (2003) and an editor of Haranya (2002), an anthology of Filipino and English literature.

She is currently at work on a collection of poetry.
